Introducing Our Artists
A pioneer of improvised music, Christi has been a significant figure in American improvised music and contemporary jazz since the 1970s. As a composer and vocalist, she’s a key contributor to New York’s downtown loft scene. A skilled pianist and composer, Christi performs and teaches classes globally. She loves to collaborate internationally, hoping to add more international festivals to her calendar.

Dizzy Gillespie’s pianist and musical director Mike Longo praised Ms. Wahman as a “talented pianist, composer and rising star,” adding the timeless compliment, “she will swing you into bad health!
Leading the ensemble is Gwen Wahman, an accomplished NYC pianist, composer and arranger known for breathing new life into beloved songs through her innovative arrangements. The ensemble’s tight-knit collaboration, born from decades of friendship and collaboration, results in a captivating musical synergy. ” Since the 1990’s, the ensemble has earned recognition for their exciting Manhattan performances of Wahman’s unique spiritual compositions, releasing the CD “Certitude.”

Native Long Islander, Mike Duca has been playing his unique style of music for the last two decades. Bringing a crowd to every venue he books, his loyal fans always have a spectacular time.
The guitarist has become a major player in the live music scene across the island, growing a loyal following of fans. He still calls Long Island his home with his beloved family and frequently rocks out at a handful of venues,.

The East River Blues Band features hypnotizing harmonica playing, howling whiskey ballads, and soul-filled Blues guitar in all of their keenly original songs. As for covers, whether it's Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Louis Jordan, Sonny Boy Williamson, Junior Wells, William Clarke, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band or Eric Clapton, they interpret the material with energy and respect because it is the music they love. Composed of Bill Acosta, Tom Brumley, Marc Copell, Ken Hughes, Caren Wright-Schilling.

THAT SOUND BAND
The recently formed cover band has been sharing their talents at various events across Long Island. Since their formation in 2022, the five-piece band has become a recurring act at the Oakdale Yacht Club, where they set the scene as the sun sets. Catch them performing at a local venue near you, they may even play a cover of your favorite song!
